Add some salt on top after spreading the chocolate if you like a sweet and savory taste. The salt makes it taste like a snickers bar!

made the recipe today, used normal crunchy peanut butter - it slapped hard, definitely recommend it.

incredible. I use crunchy peanut butter and a variety of nuts, plus sprinkle a little salt on top of the chocolate. they’re great when I fancy something sweet!

I would recommend using a more natural nut butter - I used a supermarket brand and the whole thing was fab but a bit too sweet. Super easy though and I felt like a kid again making it.

i made loads of this to use up some dates i bought and they’re amazing. much easier to make than individually dipping stuffed dates into the chocolate. i used crunchy peanut butter instead of separate peanuts and it was delicious!

I used crunchy peanut butter and melted slightly in microwave with a little bit of coconut oil and it was fab. best kept in freezer!

Delicious and really easy to make. I used chunky peanut butter instead of the addition peanuts and that worked great

What oil is best to use if you don't have coconut oil?

Hi Laura, coconut oil is needed here to get the chocolate to solidify and not melt to the touch, the other way of getting that crack texture is by tempering chocolate (which is a little more cheffy).
