The meatballs are absolutely delicious. we didn’t have any fish sause so the broth ended up a bit bland. Next time will get some fish sauce or think of a substitute

Hey Susi! This recipe uses cooked rice, you can use 2 packets of 250g microwaveable rice as a quick alternative or 250g dry rice according to packet instructions for 4 servings.

so yummy and easy!! made it with pork mince instead of sausage and sriracha instead of tomato sauce for a little extra kick

I’m really loved of this one, and it turned out beautifully — everyone in the family loved it. I skipped the shop-bought sausages since I’m not a fan of them, inside of them never looks like a proper meat.
Instead, I used a mix of pork and beef mince, and I seasoned it with the same spices suggested in the recipe for the sausages. It turned out amazing, and I’d definitely make it again.

this was so delicious! I added some mushrooms which I sautéed and set aside frying the meatballs for some extra veg.

Prep time was longer than 10 minutes more like 20 (at least for me) but honestly so delicious and easy

Chloe has smashed it out the park again with this one - I had to use Italian pork sausages and wasn't sure if it'd work, but I'm cooking it the exact same way again next week! Yum!

This was sublime. I used some sage and just threw it in the pot with the meat balls at the end. I was nervous about using the fish sauce as I don't care for it too much. Ended up using about 2 tsp and it was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.

I really like the sound of this, but can I substitute something for the ketchup?

Hey Ela, of course! You could use sriracha for a spicier kick or a half a teaspoon of tomato paste/ pureé.
