Can I swap Chinese black vinegar for something else or leave it out? I want to make this but don't have any black vinegar.

I googled this very same question and Balsamic Vinegar was recommended. I live in a rural location so speciality ingredients are hard to come by but I've made this with balsamic several times now and it's always a winner.

Could I use almond butter instead, I would assume so but they are different consistencies.

This was utterly delicious and will definitely make it's way into our regular rotation.
Only note was it was very salty from all the soy sauce, I would reduce this a little next time however that aside it was amazing.

The dark soy sauce I had made this so, so salty and gluggy. I think next time I'll just use regular and perhaps tahini for a nicer consistency.

This was absolutely awesome. Made it with vege mince instead of pork. A little fresh sliced avo on the side too and it made for an epic lunch.
